Justin is a pretty average guy. He met Jesus for the first time at 12 years old, and has been meeting him ever since.
He has an extreme love for people, which is found in his short history that God has graced him with. Justin loves ministry that engages people, encourages them to think and, in turn, enriches their lives. This is shown from his work with the National Baptist Convention Sunday School Publishing Board where he is a Vacation Bible School and Curriculum Writer, as well as Lifeway Publishing, where he writes Y.O.U. Curriculum materials, or even the blog he shares with his wife directly covering issues pertinent to Young Adults (www.foreverlester.com)
Apart from the multiple degrees earned at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Masters of Divinity Degree from Vanderbilt University; He is most blessed by God to have fortified relationships with those he have encountered and used them as viable instruments to continue to share the glory of God.
Justin stands on four pillars, being faithful, intentional, passionate and consistent. These drive at Ministry and his personal life. The evidence of these pillars is shown his ordination into the Baptist church in 2015, working with various churches in Wisconsin and Tennessee, all leading to his Assignment as Pastor at Congdon Street Baptist Church in August 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island. His love for preaching, community, youth and young adults has been evident since he has served as their Pastor.
Justin has an extreme love for coffee, fitness and all things Marquette Basketball and Green Bay Packers related. He is married to the former Courtney Jones. Together they are parents to Camden Lester. His refuses to be inauthentic to the call of ministry and purpose on his life, therefore everything he does is to lead and teach into that passion for people, purpose, and possibility.
