The Cultural event of the Year - NATIVE SON COMES HOME - DR. JACKSON CONCERT
The Congdon Street Baptist Church is hosting the "Native Son Comes Home" concert, which will feature Dr. Raymond Jackson. Dr. Raymond Jackson is a Professor of Music at Howard University, Washington, DC. He has performed as recitalist and orchestral soloist throughout the United States, Europe, Russia, and South America and the media his always delighted to give him stunning reviews.

Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for children. Immediately following the concert there will be a reception in the fellowship hall of Community Church of Providence.
You don't want to miss this spectacular concert; it is the cultural event of the year!

Got Jesus! Block Party with Coffeehouse Entertainment
Saturday, September 15th 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm is the date you'll want to save so you can attend the "CSBC OUTREACH BLOCK PARTY". There will be free food, face painting, music and more, so don't miss out! Our Block Party is planned to benefit the community - with Brown University and RISD Student Outreach, Free Heath Screenings, family fun, free food and Live Music from our Coffeehouse performers! You won't want to miss out. Hope to see you there!
 Our block party is the start of a 2007-2008 season as we return to The Congdon Street Coffeehouse this Fall.
Congdon Street Baptist Church offers a Saturday evening coffeehouse monthly with live entertainment September to April. Our coffeehouse is usually scheduled for the third Saturday of the month, 6 pm to 8:30 pm with a free potluck supper and a live performance.

Fall Hours will begin Sunday, September 16th- Church School - 9:00; Pre-Praise Service - 10:45; Worship Service - 11:00
September 9 - Family and Friends Day - Worship Service 10:00 AM worship service

September 15 - Got Jesus! 2007 Block Party with Coffeehouse Entertainment - 2 PM - 7 PM
Men's Bible Study - takes place every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6:00 PM
Women's Ministry - Special Note: During the next few weeks the Woman's Ministry will meet every Friday at 6:00 PM as we continue reading "You Matter More than You Think" by Dr. LeslieParrott (check the weekly bulletin for time changes)
Mornings before the Throne Prayer Meetings prayer with Rev. Mitchell, will reconvene in the Fall.
