Congdon Street Baptist Church (CSBC) is hosting the “Our Native Son Comes Home” concert, featuring Dr. Raymond Jackson, an accomplished pianist, entertainer, and son of Rhode Island.

The concert will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at Community Church of Providence at 372 Wayland Avenue , Providence, RI.
The tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students and children.

(Download a printable copy of the concert flyer) Dr. Raymond Jackson is a Professor of Music at Howard University and has received the Howard University Faculty Excellence Award. He has performed as a recitalist and orchestral soloist throughout the United States , Europe , Russia , and South America and has won excellent reviews.

Dr. Raymond Jackson is an example of educational excellence, achievement, and success and who gives back through the Jackson Foundation and The Raymond Jackson Scholarship and Mentoring Program for Gifted African-American Pianists. In fact, this concert is a benefit in support of Congdon Street Baptist Church 's Capital Improvement Fund.
