Our Coffeehouse offers people encouragement and hope for spiritual and emotional healing through the ministry of performing arts. Through this ministry, we strive to share the Gospel in a friendly, non-intimidating, but life-changing way.
Overall our coffeehouse is an outreach ministry geared to sharing the love of our almighty God with local performing artists, the youth, neighboring colleges, students, and the community.

We are a multi-cultural church with a heart for ministering to all people. We strongly encourage fellowship of the diverse cultures and backgrounds in Rhode Island and from the New England region. Through our Coffeehouse venue, we celebrate the wonderful ethnic and cultural diversity of the Kingdom of God.

The entire Congdon Street Church Coffeehouse consists of volunteers, including our praise team, visiting musicians and performing artists, sound & lighting technicians, coffee-counter servers and clean-up help.

There is no admission charge. We are supported solely through donations. A donation box is located at the entrance door.
Any donation helps fund our overhead expenses, such as heat and electricity.
Love offerings are taken at the end of the service for visiting performers.

The Congdon Street Church Coffeehouse is held in the Deborah C. McCrea Fellowship Hall (the church's lower level) of the Congdon Street Baptist Church at 17 Congdon St., Providence, RI 02906 on the East Side of Providence
near the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
(If you are facing the RISD "Beach" hillside green, Congdon Street is located to the left of RISD's South Hall freshman dormitory behind the green.)
Our venue is a homelike, family atmosphere. Dress is casual and comfortable. Attendees are encouraged to be punctual as seating is limited. Our church building has handicapped access. Street parking is available.

We invite guest praise musicians or bands and other Christian performing artists to share God's love at our coffeehouse through their art form, such as music, dance, poetry, rap, puppetry, mime or drama.
