Baptist Youth Fellowship Ministry

The purpose of B.Y.F. is - to work together with youths and adults in partnership learning to have a better understanding of God, Jesus and the church; to teach our youth how to interact socially with other, and to connect our young people to each other, the church, and the whole world through faith in Jesus Christ.

Our youth participate in regular business meetings to plan social and spiritfilled events that will respond to the needs and the interests of young people and connect them to the community of faith.

Some of the events that take place include:

• Annual Black History program

• Attending basketball games at Brown University

• Monthly volunteering at Rhode Island Food Bank

• Annual Christmas Progressive Dinner

• Roller Skating, Bowling, Movies and more ...

This year our youth took on the task of compiling birthday and anniversary information of all Congdon Street Baptist Church members. Their efforts resulted in the creation of a web page that is used to allow the congregation to celebrate these special days with each other.
